Baby Food!

Moose Mountain is now catering to the diaper set! Forget about store bought baby food (even that organic stuff that can sit on the shelf for months). Try our natural FROZEN product.

This is a sampling of what Chef Stephen will be offering. A full list of options with ingredients will be available soon! If anything does not appear on our list - please let us know. We will be happy to accommodate.

The following list is for 6 & 7 MONTH OLDS. It is sold in packages of 5 - 1 OUNCE CUBES. This translates into a 5 day regime. Our experts tell us that babies should have the same food for 5 days and then change.

FOR THE BASICS...

PUREED FRUIT (frozen for freshness):
Apples, apricots, banana, berries, mango, figs etc.

PUREED VEGETABLES (frozen for freshness):
Beets, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, corn, pumpkin, squash, spinach, sweet potato etc...

The following list is for 8 - 12 MONTH OLDS. It is sold in packages of .25 litre which translates to 4 meals at a 1/4 cup per serving.

BABY CASSEROLES!
Green Rice (spinach, garlic, onion, lemon zest & rice)
Brown Rice, Tomatoes & Cabbage
Lentils & Rice (red lentils, long grain rice, fresh chicken stock, onion & olive oil)
Squash & Red Peppers (short grain rice, butternut squash, roasted bell pepper & fresh veggie stock)
Summer Succotash (onion, corn, lima beans, tomatoes, fresh veggie stock, parsley)
Fish with Mushy Peas (sweet peas, white fish, fresh veggie stock, lemon juice)
Lemon Chick Peas with Carrots & Celery (chick peas, onion, celery, carrot, lemon juice, parsley & veggie stock)
Beef with Carrots & Orange (beef, carrots, orange juice)
Butternut Squash with corn & tofu (butternut squash, corn, tofu, fresh veggie stock)

We will supply all the above menu for 12 MONTH OLDS. The difference is that it will be chunkier (for lack of a better word!).

Chef has consulted with a Registered Dietitian from the Children's Hospital in Edmonton (thanks Odette!) and our own Sarah-Dash Arbuckle BA, ND, CH from Winds of Change Health Services. We will be including some of her information in our packaging!
